Tim Leberecht is a German-American author and entrepreneur, and the co-founder and co-CEO of The Business Romantic Society, a firm that helps organizations and individuals create transformative visions, stories, and experiences.

Tim Leberecht is a German-American author and entrepreneur, and the co-founder and co-CEO of The Business Romantic Society, a firm that helps organizations and individuals create transformative visions, stories, and experiences. Clients include Airbus, Google, Indeed Innovation, Launchpad Central, National Head Start Association, Otto Group, Sky, Syzygy Group, Tools of Innovators, and others.

Tim Leberecht is also the co-founder and co-curator of the House of Beautiful Business, a global think tank and community with an annual gathering in Lisbon that brings together leaders and changemakers  to humanize business in an age of machines, and the co-founder of the 15Toasts dinner series.

Previously, Tim Leberecht served as the chief marketing officer of NBBJ, a global design and architecture firm, with clients including Amazon, Google, Samsung, and Tencent. From 2006 to 2013, he was the chief marketing officer of product design and innovation consultancy Frog Design, as well as, from 2011-2013, its parent company, Aricent Group, an IT services firm. Frog became famous for its work with Apple, Disney, GE, and many other Fortune 500 brands, and Tim was instrumental in establishing Frog as one of the most admired creative brands worldwide.

Earlier, Tim Leberecht held marketing positions at mind-mapping software firm Mindjet and 3D-Internet firm Echtzeit, and served as a consultant for the 2004 Athens Olympic Torch Relay and Deutsche Telekom. He began his career as a singer/songwriter and the owner of an independent music publishing firm.

Tim Leberecht is the author of the book The Business Romantic, which has been translated into nine languages. His writing regularly appears in Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, Harvard Business Review, Inc, Psychology Today, Quartz, and Wired. He is the co-publisher of the Book of Beautiful Business, an anthology of more than 40 voices exploring new visions for the future of labor, leadership, and love, and the co-host of the Masters of Business Arts podcast.

Tim Leberecht has given talks at companies and organizations worldwide. He has spoken at conferences including AI Masters, DLD, Future Day, HSM Expo, LinkedIn Talent Connect, New Cities Summit, Online Marketing Rockstars, Re:publica, SXSW, The Conference, The Economist Big Rethink, The Next Web, WOBI, and the World Economic Forum.  His TED Talks “3 Ways to (Usefully) Lose Control of Your Brand” and “4 Ways to Build a Human Company in the Age of Machines” have been viewed 2.5 million times to date.
