Katarina Graffman is an internationally recognized anthropologist. She has been a project leader within UNICEF, an advisor to companies such as H&M and Volvo Europe, and a researcher on consumer trends for the new generations.

Katarina Graffman is an anthropologist with a PhD in Cultural Anthropology who has studied Swedish culture and business for over 20 years. She founded and runs Inculture, a Stockholm-based consultancy that provides ethnographic research and anthropological analysis on contemporary culture and trends.

Among Katarina Graffman’s clients are IKEA, Håll Sverige Rent, Fotografiska, BBC Alba, Sveriges Radio, Utbildningsradion, Sveriges Television, DN, Bonnier, Skånes Livsmedelsakademi, Leksands Knäckebröd, Danone, Skanska, Björn Borg, Libero, Big Green Door and Truth.

Katarina Graffman is an affiliated researcher at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology at Uppsala University, where she mainly focuses on developing applied anthropology.

Katarina Graffman is the author of Commercial Media Culture, translated in 2002 into English from her original Swedish book. She also has a podcast about media digitalization named Graffman Nordström.

As a speaker, Katarina Graffman talks about consumer culture, sustainability, consumer trends, people centric innovation and media behavior.
