A best seller author with more than 13 audio and video works, Dey is also a skilled public speaker that has trained and changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world.
Alex Dey is synonymous with Hispanic success. From an early age he was faced with adversity, and at 13 he was adopted by a North American family. In spite of his 6th grade education, he started learning about personal growth, motivation and negotiation techniques through audio cassettes, since his adoptive father took the mission of transforming Alex into a professional salesman. Thanks to this training, he became the best salesman at the neon sign company where he worked when he was only 17 years old, generating a significant amount of income from commissions. When he turned 19 he was recognized by the Texas Chamber of Commerce as “the most outstanding young man of the 70s”.
At 23, Alex Dey achieved another impressive milestone: a million dollars in insurance sales at a company named American Fidelity. Two years later, Dey was already a successful businessman, owning a small restaurant chain, a laundromat business and his own insurance company in San Antonio, Texas.
When Alex Dey was 27, having read hundreds of books, taken dozens of seminars and after he was able to execute all his learnings in the real world, he decided to establish the Dey Research Institute in the US and the Alex Dey Corporation in Mexico. Both companies were dedicated to the study and development of human potential and allowed him to become an instructor in negotiation techniques and motivation and gave him the opportunity to work with all kinds of people at companies such as Cervecería Cuauhtémoc, General Motors de México, Mercedes Benz, BBVA Bancomer and Chrysler de México.
