Dr. Bruce Newman has advised politicians in several countries, who come to him because he combines his outstanding knowledge of marketing and politics with consumer/voter psychology and applied statistics.

Dr. Bruce Newman is one of the leading experts in the world in marketing and politics, and has an extensive knowledge of consumer psychology and statistical applications. Dr. Newman is a recipient of the Ehrenring (Ring of Honor) from the Austrian Advertising Research Association, and advised senior aides in the Clinton White House on communication strategy. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Political Marketing and Principal of Newman & Associates LLC, a consulting firm specializing in consumer research, image management and marketing strategy.

Bruce Newman is a professor of Marketing and Wicklander Fellow in Business Ethics in the Department of Marketing of the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. He received his B.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in marketing, and specializes in political marketing, consumer behavior, and customer and voter choice behavior.  

Bruce Newman underscores the importance of drawing creative ideas from diverse sources to develop a winning marketing formula. He has consulted important political leaders around the world on communication strategy, including Bill Clinton and Lech Walesa.

Bruce Newman has published 14 books, some of which have been translated in Chinese, Korean, Hungarian and Italian, as well as numerous articles on the subjects of political marketing and consumer psychology; his publications have appeared in both popular press and in top academic journals, including the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, among others, as well as in chapters in several handbooks on the subjects of political marketing, political communication and persuasion and social marketing. Dr. Newman is a frequent contributor to the media, appearing on both national and international talk shows including NPR and BBC, among others.
